Job Title: Contractor – QTP Test Scripter Duration Long Term Location: VA-Roanoke, Franklin Building On Call: Yes Weekend Work: Yes Job Description Set up/configure and maintain test tools for the department that supports the SAP application. Clarify requirements from functional/business in order to create and run automated test scripts, including the reporting and analysis of test results. Identify data requirements for test execution and arrange the assembly of required test data. Build and maintain test catalogues. Serve as trainer/coach for infrequent testers. Principal Duties: • Responsible for setup and configuration of test automation tools including HP QTP and SAP TAO (Preferred) • Coordination with functional teams to understand their requirements and translate to test scripts (strong scripting experience- VBScript, C++, Java Script etc) • Scripting expertise at the function level (not just record and playback) • Troubleshoot test tool issues and works with SAP to fix issues identified with tools/scripts • Gathering of business scenarios, build test cases • Development of test automation scripts • Develop automation test catalogs • Work with test coordinator to develop testing schedule • Execute test cases, logs errors, and resolve errors. • Perform results analysis by comparing actual results to expected results • Coordinate with functional teams • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to setup test data • Participate in daily testing meetings and report progress, issues and mitigations Qualifications Required: • Education: BS or MSc • 6+ years of test automation/testing experience • SAP Test automation experience • SAP Experience, preferably R2R, P2P, HCM • Extensive experience scripting large scale SAP Net weaver Portal applications/HTML/Web applications • Testing methodology education and experience • Hands-on scripting skills.
