There is an existing GB&M instance of Actimize and it is envisaged that a separate instance will be required for Retail to mitigate performance issues on the existing setup. We require an experienced Actimize developer with excellent communication and analytical skills. Someone with proven, demonstrable expertise in implementing Actimize trade surveillance models and in the development of database ETLs. *Essential Experience:* *Including:* Education, technical knowledge, company/industry experience, IT knowledge, languages etc. *Specific:* · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of implementing Actimize market surveillance models within a tier 1 investment bank. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of Sybase, Structured Query Language (SQL) and database procedures. · Must be considered at the Actimize ‘implementer’ level. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of UNIX scripting and Control M. · Excellent markets knowledge - the ability to discuss front office trade flows, understand the differences between the various products, which data elements are required to support regulatory trade surveillance. · An expert in Actimize AIS, Actimize Designer, Actimize Modeller, RCM and DART. *General:* · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of developing browser based intranet/internet applications. · Excellent knowledge of relational database design and implementation, database performance tuning and optimisation. · Analysing system requirements, designing and documenting solutions. · Working within a structured development environment using application frameworks, development standards and methodologies. · Working as an individual or as part of a project team. · Educated to degree level or equivalent.
