Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Actimize Tester* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: 12 Months* *Rate: $/hr on C2C All Incl.* *Openings: #2* *Job Description:* *Essential experience:* *Including:* Education, technical knowledge, company/industry experience, IT knowledge, languages etc. *Specific:* · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of working within a tier 1 investment bank. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of testing Actimize implementations including a working knowledge of Actimize AIS, Actimize Modeller, RCM and DART. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of testing both front-end applications and back-end ETL processes (data testing). · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of performing performance testing. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of working in a test team and following a structured methodology including the preparation and delivery of associated testing artefacts (e.g. test cases, etc.). · Intermediate markets knowledge - the ability to discuss front office trade flows, understand the differences between the various products, etc. · Proven, significant and demonstrable experience of Sybase, Structured Query Language (SQL) and database procedures to aid testing of ETL processes. *General:* · Ability to manage own work and deliver to deadlines. Must be confident and competent in identifying risks/issues on own workstream and raising these via the PM. · Must be comfortable interacting with the business as will be involved in the UAT cycle. · Working as an individual or as part of a project team. · Educated to degree level or equivalent. *Responsible for:* · Testing of the ETL covering the end-to-end data flow from Fidessa to the Actimize tables. · Testing of the Actimize models to ensure they meet the business requirements. · Testing of the ETL and Model performance to ensure it is able to handle the large volumes expected from the retail flow. · Support the UAT process. · Carrying out project reporting to the business or project manager as required. · Working with development teams to ensure deliverables fulfil business requirements and quality levels. *Overview:* To work within the Financial Crime Risk IT department to test the implementation of the Actimize solution for Hong Kong retail business. There is an existing GB&M instance of Actimize and it is envisaged that a separate instance will be required for Retail to mitigate performance issues on the existing setup. We require an experienced Actimize developer with excellent communication and analytical skills. Someone with proven, demonstrable expertise in implementing Actimize trade surveillance models and in the development of database ETLs.
