Title: MS Dynamics AX/XRM .Net Developer posted on 2014-06-11 20:28:03 Job Description *Job Title: MS Dynamics AX/XRM .Net Developer* *Location: Brooklyn, NY* *Duration: 6-12 month+* *Job Description:* The Developer will carry out development tasks associated with the client's strategic initiatives and follow the 'Rapid Application Development' model. The AX Developer reports to the Senior Manager and works with other IT team members, business leaders, consultants, and end users in coordinating and developing solutions within the client's Dynamics AX ERP environment (clouds and on premise) from concept through implementation and support. This role coordinates with internal personnel, external partners / consultants, provides leadership, and contributes directly in projects and support. The Developer will be responsible for all phases of the software development lifecycle (mainly in .NET and in Microsoft Dynamics AX) including: design and planning, development, unit testing, QA testing, installation, deployment, and support. *Duties include:* Understanding of technical and functional requirements Creation of technical design documents Development of requirements Unit testing and QA testing Installation and configuration Support *EXPERIENCE:* 2+ years of significant practical and technical experience in a Microsoft development environment, Microsoft Dynamics AX environment preferable 4+ years practical and technical experience in .NET (C# and/or VB.NET, XML, web services, etc.) Knowledge of SQL Server Experience in formal software development lifecycle ERP system experience strongly desired Educated or experience writing software in any of the following languages; .Net, JavaScript and HTML5 Educated or experience/background in Analysis and Design, ability to write technical documentation, comprehensive testing. Strong organization skills Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives within time line Strong verbal and written communication skills.
