*Greetings,* *Hope you are doing Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* *Please forward a profiles to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> *Here are the requirement details* Job Title: UNIX/LINUX Expert Duration: 6+ Months Location: Fort Worth, TX As part of the technical GIS Hosting Unix/Linux Services, this role is responsible for: · Unix and Linux Access Management Services (sub-service of Unix and Linux Hosting Services) o Setup access compliant with Novartis Policies o Granting of Privileged Access to User Groups o Troubleshooting of Access Issues o Reporting and Tracking of Access o SOX Compliance – includes Reviews, Reports, and Audit Support o Review of Access Related Logs · Assist in Level 1-2 support responsibilities and help train lower level administrators including creation of Trouble Shooting Guides · Work cooperatively with other GIS infrastructure support teams to develop consistent, cohesive, and efficient support processes across all GIS platforms · Utilize day to day operational experience to make recommendations and drive projects around improving and maturing infrastructure and support processes. · Must operate User Access Management in multiple Unix/Linux OS flavors including but not limited to AIX, Solaris, HPUX, RedHat, and SUSE operating systems · Ability to collaborate with resources from GIS and the Novartis business lines, acting as subject matter expert for Unix and Linux Access Management Services. · Ensure Novartis Unix/Linux Infrastructure operations are aligned with strategies of GIS and IGM to ensure support for the future technology roadmap. *Service Innovation * · Identify Demand/CSI, trends, (IT) best-practices · (Joint) Solution Evaluation, Approval and support of Change/Project *As an Administrator, the responsibilities require to* · Execute standard Service Requests, mainly in the area of o Unix/Linux User ID Management o Unix/Linux Group Managmenet o Unix/Linux SUDO configuration and/or Privileged Access Management o Unix/Linux Enhancements o Disaster Recovery & High-Availability Management · Execute Change Request to correct or enhance Unix / Linux Systems or solutions · Act in Incident Management as o Support the resolution of Incidents with knowledge or active incident resolution · Enforce architectural governance, deployment standards and best practices for Unix / Linux *The technical scope of the job includes* · Unix and Linux Administration · Scripting automation skills – perl, ksh, and bash.
