*Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Job Title: Cognos Developer Location: Columbia, SC Duration: 9 Months Direct Client position Note: Need 3 references Rate: $45-50/hr on C2C The successful bidders (contractors) will perform the following work as needed: • Write specifications for the development of Oracle tables/views, functions, stored procedures, Cognos Framework Manager project and package extensions to meet reporting requirements of functional users. • Assist functional users in clarifying reporting requirements • Train and mentor Cognos Report Studio report developers in functional departments • Provide technical expertise on integrating historical data from legacy data warehouse and connecting to other data sources DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate must perform the following work as needed: • Write specifications for the development of Oracle tables/views, functions, stored procedures, Cognos Framework Manager project and package extensions to meet reporting requirements of functional users. • Assist functional users in clarifying reporting requirements • Train and mentor Cognos Report Studio report developers in functional departments • Provide technical expertise on integrating historical data from legacy data warehouse and connecting to other data sources REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): Contractor Qualifications: • Contractor must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in reports development • Contractor must have 1 year experience with Cognos version 8x or higher. • Contractor should have previously participated in creating reporting standards and processes • Contractor must experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Cognos Report Studio, Cognos Analysis Studio and have familiarity with Cognos Framework Manager. • Contractor must provide three (3) references for previous work relevant to position PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE): • ODS/EDW implementation experience • Experience in data modeling and ETL REQUIRED EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field *Please send resume to [email protected] <[email protected]> * Thanks, Sam CNC Consulting, Inc. 201-546-3096 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
