Troubleshoots and supports SAS server environment. Strong background with change control management and sas code version control procedures. *Must have skills:* a) Well trained in the various SAS program products and experienced in installation, configuration and maintenance of the SAS program products on various OS platforms b) Excellent diagnostics skills to determine the root cause of an issue c) Experienced with data analytics performed with the SAS products d) Solid technical knowledge, excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills e) This person must be very Knowledgeable of SAS GRID *SAS Grid Platform Administrator Requirements:* • SAS Grid 9.4 Server Installation, Configuration and Administration. • Cross Platform Migration Experience of SAS Server from Windows/UNIX to Linux • Possess in depth knowledge of SAS Foundation 9.3/9.4, SAS Metadata BI Server 9.3/9.4, SAS Grid 9.4, Platform LSF Suite and SAS Visual Analytics 6.3/6.4 • Experience in SAS administration for High Availability within GRID environment – including Metadata, Mid-Tier Servers, and Grid Control Servers • Experience in administration of SAS GRID architecture in multi-tenant environment • Experience with configuring Queues/Policies in SAS GRID environment, usage tracking, RTM monitoring, alerts notification and load balancing • Experience in security and workspace administration in SAS Management Console • Application of Hotfixes, Maintenance Release, and License Renewal as required • SAS/Access Interface to Oracle, Teradata, Netezza, DB2, Sybase, SQL Server, Hadoop. • SAS Clients: SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, Base SAS, SAS Model Manager, Microsoft Add-in Client Installation /Troubleshooting • Ability to troubleshoot SAS code for better performance. • SAS SPDS, SAS Schedule Manager and SAS Visual Analytics LASR Server management is a plus • Platform Administrator also ensures the platform is positioned for compliance with IT policies and standards and agreed upon service levels. • 5-7 years SAS background (including configuration, testing, debugging) • 5+ years’ experience working with UNIX • 2+ years’ experience working with CRON and/or Autosys, Shell/Perl scripts • Strong knowledge of MS Word, Visio with general familiarity of Outlook and other MS Office applications • Excellent written/verbal communication skills • Team player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, prioritization, decision making and conflict resolution skills • Understanding of Agile methodology is a plus • BA/BS degree required.
