*QA Engineer x3* Location : Santa Monica, CA Duration : 6 Months After Full time or CTH Hourly rate : $40/hr Need GC's or Citizens Must Haves: -3+ year experience testing in a Software Engineering environment -Experience testing web based applications -Experience as part of a highly collaborative team of software and quality assurance engineers, product owners, scrum master(s), and the business owners -Experience working with Unix/Linux specifically writing bash/shell scripts to test applications with no graphical user interface -Good understanding of the Web, HTTP, DNS and such protocols -Basic understanding of client-server technologies and networking -Comfortable working with senior software developers, QA engineers, product owners, end-users, and operations -BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/professional experience required Responsibility: Insight Global is looking for a QA Engineer for testing and validating a wide variety of projects including web-based applications and content, social networking and content delivery sites, and online interactive systems. We are looking for a flexible, fast-learning, energetic, and motivated QA tester to help deliver quality web content, user interfaces and software applications. You will assist Engineers with testing/debugging applications and assist in the development of end-to-end automation scripts. You will participate in the automated testing of applications using SQL / Perl / Python /Java / Ruby, Bash, and Selenium RC and maintain automated tests.
