Job Description:*Major Accountabilities/Critical Responsibilities*
·         Work with business leaders to create and execute on a vision to
improve business operations, develop new products and accelerate/manage
growth efforts through effective and innovative use of IT.
·         Plan, organize and oversee projects to execute on the IT plan.
Identify strategies to address risk, cost, resource and other constraints.
Evaluate and report progress in terms of quality and performance metrics
common to IT projects.
·         Provide hands-on help in architecting, designing, implementing,
deploying and documenting software applications and services. Maintain a
strategic perspective, but dive into hands-on detail as required.
·         Function as a leader within the organization and mentor
individual area functional leads; facilitate
collaboration/knowledge-sharing.

*Skills & Experience Required*
·         Seven to fifteen years relevant experience in a healthcare
managed care / plan organization.
·         Very good functional knowledge of all areas of a managed care
organization – contract, rates, benefits enrollment, claims processing etc.
·         Ability to identify gaps, provide solutions to business problems
and improve business efficiency / productivity.
·         Pro-active, results oriented, adaptable individual striving for
everyday excellence.
·         Expert leader comfortable hiring and developing high performing
teams
