*Job Title: LDAP Engineer (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)*

*Location: Minneapolis, MN*

*Duration : Long Term*



JD - This position covers detailed knowledge in LDAP directories including
MS AD, operating systems, operational tools, networks, database management
software and other similar systems support software.  The engineer in this
role will be designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise directories
in complex and diverse environment with multi-vendor products.



*Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities: *

   - Gather and organize information on problems or procedures. Analyze
   data gathered and assist in developing solutions or alternative methods of
   proceeding.
   - Design, implement and support directory schemas, ACI’s and attributes.
   Multi-master replication across clusters, patching and performance tuning.
   - Work with business owners and stakeholders for requirement gathering
   and security integration.
   - Work with Single Sign-On, Federation and Application teams to meet
   changing needs of the organization.
   - Comprehensive understanding of network and networking protocols.
   Familiarity with RSA two factor authentications is a plus.
   - Review forms and reports, and confer with management and users about
   format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and
   improvements.
   - Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for
   implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
   Confer with personnel concerned to ensure successful functioning of newly
   implemented systems or procedures.
   - Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports,
   procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
   - Solid skills in constructing, refining, and maintaining information
   models to meet business requirements.
   - Provide technical support to other Technical Services departments and
   user organization on relevant technical issues.
   - Perform testing of new or upgrades of the operating systems and system
   administrative software prior to implementing into the test and production
   environments.
   - Interface with equipment and software vendors regarding the testing
   and support of their products.



*Job Requirements:*

   - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline
   preferred.
   - 6-8 years’ experience in designing, implementing and supporting
   Directories in a large, complex organization.
   - 6-8 years’ managing end to end directory solutions development from
   inception to implementation.
   - 6-8 years’ experience administering Sun and/or Oracle Directories.
   - 3+ years’ experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Suite (Oracle
   Virtual Directory, Oracle Access Manager).
   - Experience evaluating and implementing emerging solutions to improve
   privacy, assurance and end user experience.
   - Familiarity with load balancing and fail over configurations for high
   availability infrastructure.
   - Demonstrate excellent analytical and conceptual skills used to define
   technical needs, solve technical problems, and learn new systems, concepts
   and procedures.
   - Must be available to work off hours or shifts as required for 24/7/365
   support
