*Location: Cleveland, OH*
*Duration: 6 – 12 Months*
*Description:*
· Design, build, test, implement, and maintain applications using
SoftwareAG Natural/ADABAS and JCL in a zOS 2.1 Environment.
· Ability to develop/maintain online and batch functions.
· Meet business users to gather requirement and project scope. Do
thorough analysis on requirements.
· Create TDD and other project related documentations
· Excellent analytical skills required to review existing code and
provide feedback regarding current functionality and issues.
· Create and maintain system process documentations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills required.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in team environment.
*Roles & Responsibilities:*
- Mainframe developer / analyst will work closely with Business process
owners to develop, Support, and enhance legacy application that meet or
exceed requirements.
- Must have Skills:
- IBM MVS / JES or Z/OS
- JCL, TSO and FTP knowledge
- CICS / Command Level
*Good to have skills:*
- Database: ADABAS Software: NATURAL on Mainframe
- EntireX knowledge
- Good understanding of business flow
- Have great motivation to learn new skills/technologies, excellent
analytical/problem-solving skills, fast-learner, committed,
hard-worker and
self-initiative
- Work experience in all phases of software development life cycle:
Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Construction and Testing
- Manufacturing domain knowledge
- Good interpersonal and Communication skills.
