Descriptions:
• Work as part of the Application Solutions Team to provide support to the
Project Management, Technical, and Operations teams.
• Be the subject matter expert and hands-on central point of contact for
Microsoft Project Server, including train users, setup user dashboards,
generate custom views and reports, monitor the data integrity of the system,
support users and PMO team in analyzing and resolving Project Server and PWA
(Project Web Access) related questions or issues.
• Support teams in managing their schedule from high-level timeline to
detailed metrics (milestones and dependencies, workplans, time tracking, and
related metrics)
• Create and manage team-level resource-loaded work plans
• Perform resource pool modeling across single/multiple project files
• Level over allocated resources across phases, projects & portfolio
• Manage maintenance of milestones and dependencies
• Support visibility to overall program and release schedules
• Assist the team leads and sub-team leads in day-to-day project planning
activities
• Participate in the improvement and development of project methodology
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in an IT environment
• Minimum of 4 years experience using Microsoft Project Server
• Proven experience defining, configuring and implementing an Enterprise
Resource Management structure within MS Project Server (v2007 preferred)
• Ability to implement project management methodology and key industry
practices with moderate direction
• Strong knowledge, understanding, and skill using Microsoft Project Server
• Prioritization and organization skills in order to meet deadlines and
multiple demands
• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables,
formulas, etc.)
• Able to work collaboratively, while also able to work independently with
minimal supervision
• Experience with status and metrics reporting
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are a
must
