Description:
The individual has to act as a web engineer for
development of our strategic business applications. In general this
individual will:
--Act in the highest technical level technical role as an individual
contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer
applications and/or application initiatives.
--Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and
existing designs.
--Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situation or
data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors
--Plans, performs and acts as the escalation point for the most
complex platform design, coding and testing.
--Leads most complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis
efforts
--Acts as an expert technical resource to programming staff in the
program development, testing and implementation process.
Expert Skills Required:
--Must have experience with designing, building and deploying
enterprise software built in Java.
--Excellent Java, J2EE
--Experience with J2EE based large scale enterprise software
--Significant hands-on experience developing scalable, high-
performance J2EE Solutions
--Development & Implementation using Java Platform & J2EE standards,
including open system tools.
--Significant hand on experience with the Agile methodology. OO
Design, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Code
Reviews.
--Experience with software design patterns, especially the MVC
pattern.
--Strong application design skills and the ability to represent those
designs in UML.
--Significant experienced with Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Cruise
Control, CVS, Subversion, HTML, JavaScript
--Extensive experience with mid-tier server side technologies.
Experienced in multi-tier, component-based architecture and design.
--Experience using SOA technologies such as SOAP, WSDL, XML Schemas,
etc.
--Very strong team-interaction skills
--Excellent communication skills
--Excellent problem solving skills
