Job Classification: Oper Systems Engineer Location: SAN FRANCISCO, CA, LOCALS ARE PREFERRED Duration: 12+ months Position Description: Acts as a lead in providing expert technical support and consultation for operating systems or subsystems. Conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning, and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies, and documents operating systems. Defines systems software and/or hardware requirements and determines system specifications and/or customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems. Provides direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff. Minimum Experience: 4 yr degree plus 7-10 yrs exp This is a 6 month contract looking for a Filenet administrator. Certifications and installation qualifications are a plus. This position is for a senior administrator of the Wealth Management Group's Filenet P8 infrastructure. Administration includes 24x7 support, troubleshooting, working closely with the IBM/File net Customer Support Center, performance and capacity management, assisting multiple development teams, release management, and patch management. *Minimum Qualifications Candidate must have more than 2 years demonstrated administration experience with the following Filenet P8 components: AE, CFS, CE, PE, PA, PS, 5+ years with IS, and 7+ years experience with imaging and workflow systems. In addition to Filenet expertise, candidate must have a sufficient understanding of Windows, AIX, Oracle, and Weblogic to perform basic diagnostic tasks as well as communicate effectively with their respective system administrators. Preferred Skills Familiarity with Kofax Ascent Capture is a plus but not required.
