Job Description: This is a technical role
focused on developing code (JAVA, XML, SQL, etc.) to import
data into and export data from Clarity.
Our desired
skills are:
• Functional knowledge of Clarity functionality and objects
(Clarity 7.5.3 or later)
• Working knowledge and experience using XOG interface both
manually and programmatically
• Working knowledge and experience working with the Clarity
database schema
• Demonstrated experience working with SQL and specifically
Oracle SQL
• Demonstrated experience coding in JAVA (client side)
• Demonstrated experience with XML DOM coding
• Fundamental understanding of data flow from XOG objects to
Clarity objects
Desirable
• Experience with SOAP
• PGP encryption/decryption
• Socket programming (FTP)
• Log4J
Additional Information: This person will be spending 3/4th of their time
Developing and will act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Clarity Coding
Development. They will need to have strong communication skills and will
work on a team of 2-3 people with some interaction with other groups with in
the IS Department as needed. The candidate will need to assist with some
Solution Architecture.
