hi, i have just completed installing sap 4.7 thanx for the support u gave to me. i have problem here initially after installation i loged in with ddic and its password i got the easy acess screen. and shut downed my system without stoping the server in Management Console.
Again when i Started the server in the morning initiall the process started ie., some icons came to green color. and suddenly they turned up yellow and remained as such. when i checked the process tab the msg-server.exe ie, message server is running but, the disp+work.exe was stopped status. all the work process in the WP table came to Ended state from Run state with err=1 and remaind as such. if and only if all icons are green in colour and all WP are in wait state i can start server from the logon pad right. some on the errors in syslog tab of MMC are: R/3 Basis System: Operating System call recv failed error no. 10054 R/3 Basis System: Message server disconnected R/3 Basis System: DB Connect failed Return Code 000256 Database: Database error 1017at CON. after long time i sucessfully installed sap in my system and iam facing above problem can any one help me out from this.
