*UX TESTER*
*Location: Redmond, WA*
*Duration: 6 Months*
*Job Description:*
1. Candidates must have great problem solving skills and be able to
communicate
effectively.
2. The candidate must have minimum 1 year demonstrable experience in coding
using
C#/C++.
3. Also needs to be able to investigate and trace failures by means such as
use of
debuggers. Knowing how to capture a call stack with symbols is a must.
4. Testing experience in UX, Platform and/or client side a plus. End to end,
system
integration, SQL, windows, client and server deployment also a plus.
5. Familiarity with systems management technologies like Microsoft
Operations Manager
(MOM), Microsoft Management Console (MMC) and Windows Update Services
would
also a plus.
6. Familiarity or past experience with Microsoft test execution harness like
WTT is a
plus.
*Qualifications:*
*A successful candidate for any of all the above positions will have*
• Passion for testing and for solving hard problems
• Excellent coding skills in C#
• Must have the ability to work closely with the rest of the test team: PM,
Dev, CS and
Ops teams to establish collaboration and ensure quality.
• Ability to design and implement functional, end to end tests.
• Should demonstrate success towards building a strong scenario driven,
automated test
strategy, along with a drive for excellence.
• Strong cross group collaboration skills are a must.
• A BS or MS in computer science or related field with experience in testing
preferred.
