Storage/SAN Administrator Location: Johns Creek, GA Duration: 3 months Interview Process: phone screen to hire Job Description: The primary responsibility for this position will be to migrate existing storage workload from a DMX-1000, and two DMX-2000s to a 3-PAR T-400. * The associated hosts include a mixture on AIX (VIO and dedicated), HPUX, Linux, and SUN. At least 5+ years of hands on EMC DMX storage experience. * Experience with a Brocade SAN fabric required. * Must have in depth working knowledge of Storage/SAN administration and architecture. * Experience with storage migrations from EMC to other storage arrays a strong plus. * 3-PAR Storage experience is a strong required. * Unix Admin experience on one or more of the following platforms is a strong plus; AIX, HPUX, Linux, and SUN. * Shell scripting knowledge is required. * Responsible for troubleshooting Storage/SAN issues. * Strong organization and prioritization skills * Must have strong analytical, research, and problem solving skills. * Must have excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills. * Must be able to multitask and coordinate several projects simultaneously. * Must work well under pressure and with minimal supervision. * Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. * Must be able to lead, motivate, and execute. * Must be able to address escalation items and conflicts in a timely, motivational and productive manner. * Must be able to produce documentation processes and procedures.
