We are in need of someone with a comprehensive understanding of Web Based applications and security. This person will have experience with large networks and multi-regional data center deployments.
*This opportunity will allow you to:* - Ensure high-availability support for middleware systems ensuring uptime. - Provide analysis reporting for the purpose of capacity planning. - Recommend best-practice solutions for web and middleware server technologies - Provide on-call and after hours support for production environments on a rotation basis. - Provide technical leadership and cross-training to peers in areas of expertise. - Troubleshoot complex functional and technical incidents occurring in the environment. - Develop the guide to install and configure the infrastructure product into the environment - Provide 3rd level recovery support for business or infrastructure related applications that require troubleshooting the operating system, network connectivity, issues with high availability, or slow performance to restore normal service operations. - Participate on task forces that are formed to determine the root causes of repetitive issues. - Re-engineer or Develop long term strategies for resolutions to mitigate the reoccurrence of service interruptions. - Provide weekly status reports, accurately track time spent on support initiatives in resource tracking systems. - Build, develop and maintain effective working relationships between Technology Planning and Business Units/Customers to fulfill business goals, and other groups within CIO organization *This opportunity requires the following skills:* - 3+ years working with either or both IBM Datapower or BigIP F5 appliances - 3+ years of experience working in a large IT environment, supporting multiple computing environments, operating systems and hardware platforms. - 2+ years in use of F5 iRule script development and load balancing scenarios - 2+ years in use of IBM Datapower for message transformation and SAML authentication - Experience with web based security threats and the methods used to protect against them. - Demonstrated ability to determine key needs, diagnose and address problems, assess risk and drive issues to resolution. - High level of architectural knowledge and the ability to read and analyze infrastructure diagrams. - Experience with Middleware administration such as WebLogic, Jboss, or WebSphere a plus - Experience with Windows OS administration and Sharepoint (MOSS) a plus - Ability to gather business requirements and create technical solutions to meet those business requirements - Ability to effectively consider trade-offs between performance, scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability, manageability and business requirements. *Thanks,* *Shyam* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
