GOOD Financial BACKGROUND. We are looking for a QA Lead. They will work on a development team of 10-12 (managing 2-3 QAs). Strong experience with rapid prototyping and/or Agile development methodologies. Excellent understanding of the lifecycle of a trade and overall workings of investing/hedging etc. The application we are building is designed for a small set of users who will program algorithms in it. Thus it is critical that this person be able to understand and replicate the work that users do. Basically this requires general smarts and especially aptitude for math. Here is the general list we are looking for: * Aptitude for math & raw smarts * A nose for what is important to do when. Someone who can look at the unusual system we are building and know how to test it. Someone who can creatively think about testing approach. * Very strong personality and ability to advocate for QA team on a project team of highly opinionated individuals. * Technical testing experience.
