Here is an urgent requirement from *Abacus Consultancy Services * *Please mention below information* Full Name : Visa Status : Willing to relocate : Availability: Hourly Rate : Updated Resume with below skills : Present Location: Best Time to call : Availability for F2F after telephonic Round(Yes/NO ) : Contact Information (Email ID & Contact Number ): *Cognos Enterprise Planning Resource ( Contract to Hire )* * * *Status: Accepting Candidates* * * *Must Have : If H1 must transfer after 3 months else EAD/GC/Citizen* *In-person interview MUST after phone* *Good Comm skills* * * *Fast moving position * * * *Cognos Enterprise Planning Resource* * * *Foster City, CA (Onsite - Offshore Model)* * * *Duration : 3-4 months of CTH* *Project Details:* • This position will be part of the Business Intelligence Systems group and will be responsible for supporting the existing Cognos Planning & Forecasting process. • The candidate will also be responsible for enhancing and maintaining existing Cognos Planning models and the full Cognos Planning infrastructure from Cognos Analyst through Cognos Contributor. • The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of the Financial forecasting and reporting process. • Using this knowledge, the candidate will meet with cross-functional Finance groups to gather requirements and develop Cognos Planning solutions. *Primary Job Function:* • Maintain, enhance, and expand several Cognos Planning financial models utilizing Cognos Analyst and Cognos contributor. • Working in conjunction with the Financial Planning & Forecasting team, support the quarterly forecasting process. • Lead the development of test plans and coordinate all QA user acceptance activities around the planning and forecasting process. • Drive the design and development of EP solutions based on information gathered through requirements analysis, interviews and workshops. • Using various Cognos 8 BI analysis tools, assist in the analysis and reporting of financial planning data. • Produce clearly written and well organized design, administrative and end-user documentation. • Knowledge of relational database systems. Microsoft SQL* Server preferred. Financial planning experience. • Demonstrated experience working in a Finance organization is highly desirable. Experience with Cognos 8 BI tool suite is a big plus.
