Job Title: C#.Net Developer/WPF-XAML-MVVM Location: Chandler,AZ Duration: 6+ Month Contract Client: Intel Client Notes: Someone who is well versed in release and deployment of applications in a SQL server production environment. Proficient with WPF, XAML and MVVM patterns. Experience with ASP.Net, WCF/SOAP and Visual Studio 2010. This will be large scale software developments. Git experience would be a major plus. Project Description: This project involves enhancing and supporting a three-tier business application that is comprised of approximately 500,000 line of C# code. The database backend is Microsoft SQL Server. The user interface is WPF/XAML in a MVVM pattern. Important elements of the system are also implemented in asp.net (SOAP). This team uses an Agile Scrum code development process. Daily Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this role is to write and test code for our project. This includes fixing bugs, writing unit tests, adding new features, participating in the Scrum activities, and other activities related to developing software in a production environment. Examples of specific duties include: Writing, reviewing, testing, and preparing software for formal release Leveraging existing application and test framework, defining your own unit test plans for industry standard functionality as well as features not available in the marketplace today Interacting frequently with other developers, marketing, validation and quality engineers to optimize product definition, root cause issues and verify fixes and deliver on tasks In certain circumstances, this position may require work outside of business hours on short notice. While infrequent, candidates must be willing to support these requests. Necessary Skills (Must Have): 10 or more years professional work experience programming for the Microsoft Windows environment. 5 or more years full-time working C# and .Net. At least two years working on C# 4.0 or later. Two or more years actively working on at least 5 of the following application development technologies: WPF / XAML Kno MVVM Design Pattern Window Server Security Policy Management SQL Server Compact Edition LINQ for SQL Server Microsoft Sync Framework Microsoft Database Reporting Services Syncfusion WPF Custom Controls Developing Custom Windows Services Using Git with Visual Studio 2010 Experience debugging WPF/XAML applications. Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have): Experience developing in an agile environment (SCRUM) Knowledge of SQL Server in a production environment (DBA) Experience in developing and understanding the intricacies of large scale software development.
