*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com * Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Harrisburg, PA Duration: 8 Months Direct Client Position Years of Relevant Experience: 7 to 8 years Role Description: •Deliver support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications. •Interact with executive level business users or technical experts. •May function as a niche SME. In addition to the above, the candidate will: Troubleshoot network and application problems including: - Analyzing network packet captures - Analyzing network router and switch statistics - Interpreting Cisco syslog data - Resolving wireless connectivity issues using Cisco wireless tools (PI, WLCS, MSE) - Interacting with technical peers at other Commonwealth Agencies and end-users to resolve issues - Analyzing ACE module statistics - Analyzing & resolving BGP and OSPF routing issues Work on projects, including but not limited to: - Customizing Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Application Control System, and Mobility Services Engine to (a) be accessed by multiple teams with different levels of access and (b) provide meaningful statistics, reporting, and alerts. - Managing the project to install & upgrade Cisco wireless connectivity at multiple remote sites. - Designing and implementing site-to-site VPN solution for multiple remote locations over the Internet. - Configuring ACE module based on application requirements - Researching and developing new network technologies - Developing network solutions to meet the ongoing needs of the PLCB - Developing and documenting network standards with respect to appliance configuration and security.
