Must-haves - Data warehouse concepts and design - Ability to identify, design, build, test, optimize, and maintain MS BI Stack (SSIS,SSRS SSAS) - Knowledge of Facts and Dimensions. - Knowledge of the different types of Dimensions and why they are used. - Difference between business key and surrogate key - Understanding of a MERGE statement - Understanding of EXCEPT statement - Stored Procedures/Functions - CTE (common Table expressions) - Different Types of Constraints within SQL Server. - SSIS - TFS - MSSQL Development and Optimization - SQL programming Skills in MSSQL - Experience in ETL (Extract Transform and Load) methods - Knowledge of VB/C# programming a plus - Implement existing or new designs - Create SQL agent jobs and schedules as needed. - Ensure uniformity and stability in DB environment.
