*Position : Junior Data Analyst* *Location : Burbank, CA*
*Duration : 6-12+ Months* Overall 5+ years of experience • 5+ years prior experience in eliciting and documenting business requirements and use cases. • Quick learner, detail-oriented, work independently and effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders. Specific Deliverables • Undergraduate Degree or Higher • Financial data migration and conversion experience. • Experience in reviewing and reporting large amounts of financial data. • Candidate must understand debits and credits. Some accounting experience and knowledge or related education is required. Working knowledge of financial statements are preferred. • Work under tight deadlines and be able to clearly articulate status in writing. • Must be self managed. We deal with unknown variables that come up during analysis and the candidate must think through the implications and escalate as needed. • Technical Requirements: • Advanced Excel skills with experience in comparing and reviewing large amounts of data and reporting summarized views in a meaningful manner. Pivot tables and lookup analysis experience are musts. • Advanced Access skills with experience in organizing data tables, creating and running queries, loading and extracting reports from database. • Create summary and management reports using Excel, Powerpoint, and Visio. Roles & Responsibilities Must Haves: • Stage data for analysis in Access, map attributes across tables as needed, and prepare queries. • Summarize and prepare data for analysis. • Prepare schedules in Excel to show summarized view of each data points. • Compare data points, analyze and report discrepancies.
