Job Responsibilities •Lead the design and development of data structures optimized for reporting and analysis •Lead design and development of code used to extract data from source structures and prepare it for delivery to visualization, analytics and reporting tools •Design and develop reports, analytics and visualizations using any and all tools supported in the environment •Advise on the ongoing refinement of report infrastructure based on lessons learned from report development process •Act as a technical leader within Agile software development teams •Must be able to work self-sufficiently, think innovatively and exercise good judgment. •Provide a high level of customer service *Requirements/Qualifications: * 2 - 6 years of experience using an Enterprise reporting tool, preferably Business Objects or SSRS. *Technology Requirements*: Business Objects 4.0 skills: a)Web Intelligence b)Crystal Reports c)Universe Designer d)Dashboard Designer (optional) *MS BI 2012 skills:* a)SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) b)Excel pivot tables, pivot charts, Excel Services an Power Pivot (PowerPivot is a nice to have, like DAX below, it’s new – need folks to be trainable and eager) c)Reporting against SQL Server Analysis *Dependent Skills:* a)Structured Query Language (SQL) b)Multi-Dimensional Expression Language (MDX) – nice to have, (but not a deal breaker. This is an older BI language, that we may not have a big need for) c)Dynamic Analysis Expressions (DAX) – (A new language for the MS BI stack.
