*Location : Chicago, IL*
*Duration : 6 month's plus *
*Responsibilities & Duties*
- At least 8+ years of experience in various life cycle stages of
standalone or packaged Data Warehouse implementations covering phases viz.
problem definition, Architecture/Design /Detailing of Processes,
maintenance and support
- Expertise in data migration and integration aspects with related
understanding on ERP systems / GL systems
- Should have excellent ETL skills in Informatica Power Center 8.x along
with ability to perform Administration activities and load monitoring
- Expertise in SQL Tuning and Optimization, Data Warehouse Design
(Modelling and Tuning) along with Analytical and Troubleshooting skills are
required
- Excellent communication / presentation / verbal and written
communication skills. Should be able to drive customer discussions
independently and act as trusted advisor
- Strong ability work in an onsite-offshore team environment - sharing
ideas and working collaboratively
- Implementation experience in Utilities Sector is desirable
- Understand requirements specifications/change requests and identify
gaps
- Design the solution based on identified gaps and validate the design
- Oversee and coordinate the offshore development effort and guide the
team in complex deliverables
- Accountable for quality & completeness of client delivery on given
parameters
- Liaise with transactional source teams to get information related to
various attributes and entities to be exposed in the data warehouse
- Provide regular status update to all the stake holders regarding the
status of the project highlighting any dependencies and risks in timely
manner
