Apply and help institute best practices, methodology and standards in DW and ETL design and development to meet project requirements. Help plan and maintain the physical technical infrastructure, its configuration, performance, and storage requirements. Also responsible for administering ETL tool and designing a scalable infrastructure for the Data Warehouse and ETL. Develop design & development specifications, and metadata documentation. Translate business requirements into DW/ETL Technical Design and coordinate with BI developers, DBA and System Administrators, Project Managers in the development, automation and maintenance of Data Warehouse (including data profiling, logical and physical models, documentation) and ETL work flows, jobs, batch scripts, Data Marts and Cubes. Demonstrate expertise in data modeling tools such as ERWIN, ERSTUDIO, ETL tools such as IBM COGNOS Data Manager, Informatica, databases such as Oracle, SQL*Server etc., dimensional databases such as TM1, Essbase, SSAS etc and serve as technical expert on in-house ETL process and solutions. *REQ 2: * *Need PeopleSoft Financials Functional consultant. * 2 positions: *1@ Dallas, TX* OR 2@*Denver, CO* Duration: 6 Months Contract GL, Project Costing, AP and AR VAT regulations,Intercompany + reconciliations,Multi-currency Experience :- 10 years of experience as a PeopleSoft Techno - functional Implementation and Support consultant in PeopleSoft Financials Modules: GL, Project Costing, AP and AR. Experience in: - Specifically implementation with VAT regulations - Very strong in GL multiple ledgers - Strong in Intercompany + reconciliations - Strong Multi-currency experience - Strong in Project Costing > = 2 implementations - AR, AP, Bi, AM, T & E, CM, deal Management, Mandate management (all nice to have) - Strong technical background – experience in Peoplecode, CI, APP engine and Integration technologies - Reporting:- nVision - The consultant is a person that can handle high pressure and knows how to get things done. Experience with developing Windows drivers is a strong plus. Experience with developing InstallShield based Installer application is a strong plus. Cross platform development experience in Linux is a plus.
