Locals to Vegas preferred but if not, they are open as long as they can work 6 months + contract *Do not respond to this email please send your resume with contact details of your candidate [email protected] <[email protected]> * Description for QA role: SR Backend ETL tester Our client is seeking experienced backend testers responsible for the planning execution and tracking of Functional, Regression and System/Integration and Performance testing for a large Data Warehouse. The person in these positions will work closely with the developers, database analysts, and other team members to design and create test data sets in SQL to test Backend technical integration functionality. Required knowledge and skills- 7-10 years experience in QA Testing. Minimum of 5 years in backend testing of relational databases is a must. Minimum of 5 years experience in writing SQL Queries on large database systems. 3 years experience in Data Warehouse systems. 3 years experience on Teradata Relational databases. Gaming experience is a plus! All applicants must be available to work in the Las Vegas area during the contract period. The expectation is that this person will be in control of the 6 test boxes (almost all iSeries) and responsible for scheduling testing for the many projects we have right now. Of course gaming experience is a huge plus, but they need to have iSeries experience and knowledge. This position will ‘own’ our testing environments for the next 6 to 9 months ++. The will also be expected to write test cases, do QA testing and manage the workload for multiple projects. This position will work with Scrum QA on the testing for the many projects. Must be hands on, willing to get their hands dirty in the sand boxes. They must be familiar with iSeries operating systems as all of our test systems are on this platform.
