SQL Data Migration Analyst 3+Months Contract Albany,NY MAX RATE : 50$/Hr Primary responsibilities will be as follows: *Perform data migration from multiple Sybase databases to a combined SQL Server database for a new application being developed to replace multiple legacy systems using SSIS. *Will perform initial data analysis to determine legacy data structure and mapping to new database, perform data quality analysis to ensure that data conforms to new business rules, design and create ETL processes to move data to new database and develop and execute test routines to ensure that data was migrated correctly. *Will work with Architect and developers in the performance of the above job duties to ensure that data is correctly mapped and moved. *May involve moving documents and other unstructured data from file system to database repositories. *Reports to the project manager and works closely with the architect and development team to design data migration processes using SSIS. This Resource also works closely with the client subject matter experts to ensure a complete understanding of the data.
