Job Description



Websphere Adminstrator resources –



Skills

•     Knowledge and experience with administering IBM Websphere Application
server and interconnects with different web servers

•             Performance tuning of Websphere in different nodal
configurations

•             IBM Web Content Management (WCM) v7.0

•     Good understanding of various types of WCM components, configuration,
workflows, and security key Information Architecture concepts and
experience of designing taxonomy.



Responsibilities –

•     Tier 2 support for the BIS applications, Tier 3 support of the BIS/TB
Platform, Tier3 WebSphere support for the Enterprise clients.

•     Architecture /planning of the BIS/TB platforms .

•     Increasing BIS application/infrastructure availability and assisting
in reducing P1 incident counts by proactively monitoring client impact,
resolving non P1 incidents and identification of P1 incidents before
external/internal clients.

•     Installs, configures, troubleshoots, monitors, maintains and upgrades
software.

•     Performs deployment of code, scheduling, tuning and configuration of
application and infrastructure components

•     Performs production monitoring and maintenance.

•     Provides on-call production support.

•     Performs application monitoring and response, problem
management/resolution, change management for a 24*7 suite of applications.
