*Title:* RPG Programmer/Analyst *Location:* Woodland Hills, CA *Duration:* 6 Months Contract position Rate: Give me the Best. *Job Description:* * Minimum 5 years previous programming experience in RPG IV, RPG/ILE and CL languages, DB2/400, Query 400, SQL 400 and sub files processing. * Ability to analyze processing problems and develop solutions that can be implemented. * Experience in coding, testing, debugging and promoting batch and interactive programs to production. * Familiarity with LANSA, *Synon* or similar 4GL case tool required. * Familiarity with Object Oriented Language such as C, C++ or JAVA required. * Familiar with the AS400 command language, debugging and development utilities such as ISDB, PDM, EZVIEW, Hawkeye and Turnover. * Experienced of SDLC, QA Life Cycle and change management methodology. * PC skills; word processing, spreadsheet, file transfer. * Excellent oral & written communication skills. * BS in computer science or related field and relevant technical coursework. * Experience with Insurance, banking or financial industries required.
