*Position: Network Engineer/*Support */Technician ConsultantLocation: Chicago,ILDuration: 6+ Months* *SURE SHORT CLOSURE !!!!!!!!* 7705s/ 7750s and Spirent QScope is mandatory. A Test and Turn up Ethernet Backhaul engineers, their task is to install and test the Ethernet network where the eNode B’s will be connecting to. Below is the profile of the engineers that are required. The job is nationwide and for a period of 6 months Job Description: • Provisioning EVC/EBH between ALU 7705s & 7750s, which provide service delivery endpoint • Provision 7750 and 7705s to implement Microwave Backhaul (MWBH) services (Ring architecture, Hub and Spoke, etc.) • Active Testing performed between Preconfigured 7705s and 7750s by Spirent Q-Scope for • Bandwidth Check • RFC2544 Test (To Verify Throughput) • Net Quality Test :SLA Measurements (Frame Loss, Latency and Jitter) • Following the below Configuration & Testing Method & Process Flow • 7750 IPAs- Primary and Secondary • VLAN ID • VLAN CIR • Bearer/Loopback IP • Upon Completion of each EVC test, re-verify OSPF and BFD if applicable • ENTER the CLLI of the IPA ,RELATED TO THE EVC under test. • Select Network Element > test > Perform test for • Adjusted VLAN CIR. • Band Width Test. • RFC 2544 Test. • Net Quality Test. • Work with Alternate Access Vendors (AAVs) to troubleshoot any issues. • Populate/Update testing completion information for EVCs in a pre-determined tracker and/or database. • Providing an 800 number which ALU and/or vendor technicians can call into to when EVCs are ready for turn-up and test. • Completed Deliverable per Site = EBH/MWBH turned up and Qscope test successfully completed per the customer established thresholds.
