*Detailed Description*

The Oracle Financials Consultant role supports the Financials track working
with the technical staff and the financial business user community.   Key
responsibilities for the role include:
• Translate challenging business requirements into solutions leveraging
standard Oracle functionality in the most current releases of Oracle EBS
(R12)
• Lead business process evaluations and requirements-gathering,
• Perform system analysis and design activities
• Perform module configuration/setup of Oracle Financials R12
• Plan and support user acceptance testing,
• Working with the finance business community, support the End-User
training activities
• Ensure deliverables are tracked and delivered to the project schedule

*Job Requirements*
The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience implementing and supporting
Oracle Financial Applications.
• 10+ Years of overall Oracle Financial Applications experience and 4-5
years with Oracle R12 Financial applications
• Understands and translates the business strategy, business goals, and
business processes into an IT solution
• Implementation experience with Oracle Financials R12 (Accounts Payable,
Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger,  Time & Labor and
eBusiness Tax)
• A solid understanding of Procure to pay, order to Cash and Project
accounting processes
• Knowledge of Vertex tax engine and GTE
• Knowledge of Oracle Workflow/AME
• Ability to work with finance business users to understand their
requirements and translate them to design objectives
• Ability to create functional design specifications that can then be
translated to technical specifications
• Be able to work and communicate effectively with offshore team members
• Perform production support, performance tuning and optimization
• Familiar with EDI integration

*Additional Details*
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technology, MBA Preferred
• Knowledge of other financial applications outside of Oracle EBS
(Hyperion, Vertex, etc…)  is also desirable
• Demonstrated experience working in an aggressive, fast-paced, highly
energetic environment with demanding schedules
• Demonstrate a high level of energy, has strong initiative, and is able to
motivate and lead at all levels of the company
• Exemplary writing and presentation skills are required.
• Extensive knowledge and experience using enterprise program management
tools and methodologies.
• Experience working for a large consulting or systems integration
organization implementing Oracle Applications
