Please send the resumes at [email protected] Job Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Chester, VA Duration: 4 months+ Technical project management and technical analysis for VITA EAD maintenance upgrades including Windows 2003, Oracle 10G, .Net and SQL 2005. Need for a strong PM with strong technical skills to be able to manage multiple upgrade projects and map out a comprehensive logical plan with our existing projects, systems, servers and data stores. Will be responsible for overall project management for technical upgrade projects including holding technical discovery sessions, documenting technical requirements with architects and developers. Also, working with architecture and application team managers to coordinate upgrade schedules with project and business schedules, etc. Upgrades are to all web based applications and over 68 servers. Skills: PMP or COVA PM Cert. Other PM certs considered. Stong business and technical analystical skills, attention to detail and logical thinking Ability to run technical and project meetings and translate into work planning and project schedules Ability to decompose upgrade requirements into project plans for upgrade work and testing purposes. Excellen presentation, communication and customer service skills Remain flexible on changing workloads and priorities Technical PM experience Required 10 Years Extensive experience with MS Project and creating project plans. Required 10 Years Experience with testing scripts and system testing a plus Required 6 Years Strong technical management skills, including managing matrixed resources. Required 6 Years Ability to run technical and project meetings and translate into work planning and project schedules.
