Microsoft announced the XP operating system would no longer be supported
after March 2014.  This prompted CDLE to order a higher than normal number
of refresh computers so the hardware would be compatible with Windows 7.
In addition to the new computers ordered, CDLE has existing computers that
need to be upgraded from XP to Windows 7.

PURPOSE
This program year CDLE has ordered over 700 refresh computers that need to
be imaged and deployed.  Additionally, all existing Windows XP machines
that are not being refreshed will need to be upgraded in place to Windows 7
and Office 2010.  This upgrade and refresh deployment is in addition to the
regular task of break/fix resolution.

SCOPE
The Vendor shall be responsible for providing qualified candidates to:
Provide technical assistance for user questions/issues on Windows XP and 7
and Microsoft Office 2003 and 2010
Resolve computer problems
Image computers using Norton Ghost software
Install and perform minor repairs to computers and peripheral equipment
Set up equipment for employee use
Maintain records of daily hardware installations
Perform DoD wipe of surplus equipment
Update/create documentation
