*Preferred Employment : Corp to Corp * *Direct Client: * *Position: SAS Programmer * *Location: Plano, TX* *Duration: 6+Months * Provide support using IDM host computer/mainframe ESP (job scheduling software) to help clean up some of the QIS batch schedules Work from the office Work well with both technical and non-technical users (team has technical peers but new person will need to explain what is going on to those that are not programmers) Documentation of technical systems (figure out what has been done and what is being done) education and training materials that a non-technical user can reference tutorials and good documentation so any team member can take something over Juggle several projects (multiple priorities) at one time it's a fast-paced team; need to turn on a dime Team Player (don't go off and do your own thing); creative thought is accepted through collaboration *Most Critical Skillset: * Must be well-versed in all aspects of SAS programming (host and PC for both production systems and for ad hoc reporting); SAS is heavy in macro language so must be fluent in the SAS language Experience and providing support in using IDM host computer/mainframe (TSO & JCL, CUST, REXX, Dialogue Manager) Must be a FAST programmer and a very good troubleshooter (code needs to be investigated, good detective) Proficient in testing (not just what they've put together but what others have put together) Statistical techniques (work with statistician in R&D, must understand what they are talking about) *Thanks & Regards,* *Matt Blair / Global Resource Management, Inc.
