I have the following urgent requirement. *Please let me know if you are interested.* *Job Title : Project Manager with Banking(2 Positions)* *Location : Livingston, NJ* *Duration : 12 Months* *NO H1B, Should be local* Job Description Required Experience: Looking for a strong experienced Project Manager with hands on project management experience (7-10 years), with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates must be extremely strong with MS Project - experience building out detailed project schedules with detailed task level plans.. Candidates must have experience managing projects within Waterfall / Agile methodologies. Candidates must be able work independently and have great conflict resolution experience. Outstanding communication, customer service, and negotiation skills are required. Ideally, candidates will have *financial industry experience* managing projects within Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Tax, and Treasury domains. Candidates must also be very collaborative and able to work in a team atmosphere. Candidates should be able to ask for, and provide, critical feedback when necessary. Project Managers have primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing the enterprise project, for identifying key resources and providing the direction they require in order to meet project objectives. They also ensure appropriate management, customer and vendor involvement throughout the life of the project. Position Responsibility: The project manager will be responsible for day-to-day project management responsibilities. The candidate will be required to: 1. Coordinate the activities of the IT, Clients, Vendor, and project team members 2. Manage identification, management and resolution of project risks, issues, and dependencies 3. Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports, presentations and status reports for management 4. Build, own and maintain detailed project plan and all project artifacts 5. Assess and continually monitor project progress and financial performance 6. Present weekly / monthly communications regarding project schedule and financials 7. Enforce a strict project management discipline to insure a structured and effective implementation 8. Ensure compliance with CIT project methodology guidelines 9. Coordinate generation and collection of project artifacts 10. Maintain team collaboration and documentation site Minimum Required Skills and Experience: 11. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience 12. 7+ years professional experience in Information Technology project management 13. Project management experience in large initiatives involving coordination of activities for multiple stakeholders; ability to be effective in a matrix organization 14. Project management experience in software development projects; specific experience with the MS Project; knowledge of and experience in applying Agile/Waterfall is essential 15. Expert knowledge of project management methodology, tools and techniques 16. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills; experienced presenter 17. Strong tactical, leadership and people management skills 18. Ability to apply a mature and diplomatic approach to task prioritization and conflict resolution 19. Advanced skills with working with MS Visio & PowerPoint tool. 20. Project management experience in software development projects, with experience within Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Tax, and Treasury domains preferred. 21. PMP certification or equivalent work experience preferred 22.
