Please send the resumes at [email protected] Job Title: Sr. Business Analyst Location: Lansing, MI Duration: 12 Months Note: preference for candidates with State exp The scope-of-work is to serve as Business Analyst/Consultant for the MDOC OMS projects in particular; the scope-of-work includes the following: Track and Trace deliverables, route for review as needed and tabulate feedback Connect data mapping pieces to produce end to end conversion schematic Facilitate requirements meetings Provide methodologies and tracking for Test Cases Post documents to SharePoint Conduct research to identify detailed requirements pertaining to interfaces and other key aspects of the project. Assist in the creation of presentation materials Other duties as required Skills Required Position Requires: a. Strong analytical and problem solving skills b. Detail oriented and able to quickly absorb and apply key aspects of the project c. Able to function effectively in a fast paced work environment d. Ability to train end user on software solutions e. Able to handle multiple priorities f. Able to deliver against deadlines with reasonable accuracy g. Good interpersonal skills; ability to work independently as well as part of a team h. Excellent verbal and written communication skills i. Able to effectively deal successfully with a large variety of management personnel and users j. Capability of giving attention to detail while still understanding and dealing with the global aspects of the project Skills Preferred Position Requires: Ability to work independently in order to obtain project goals and objectives Experience Required The Business Analyst/Consultant Senior must have the following experience, skills and expertise: Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Documented experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions for systems implementations. Documented experience in performing requirements gathering sessions for systems implementations. Documented experience creating technical roadmaps to develop and implement a complex system rewrite in a phased approach. 5 years' experience in verbal and written communication with clients and technical staff in English.
