*Oracle DBA with ODALINCOLNSHIRE, IL 60069 Duration 6 Month(s)+ Contract* *Must-haves *- Experience in administering Oracle Engineered systems: Oracle Database Appliances (ODA) is a must, and Exadata is strongly preferred. Exalytics would be a plus as well. - ODA Administration: upgrade/patching, configuration, backup, monitoring on engineered systems, testing Oracle Engineered system's releases and patches, and tracking issue logs - Linux OS experience - Experience troubleshooting configuration problems - ITIL knowledge - Strong analytical, problem solving, and collaboration skills. This group needs an ODA Administrator to do the configuring and administering of Oracle engineered systems including Exalytics and Exadata. They currently have a team of 3 to manage the environment from a server perspective, and they need to increase the headcount to continue to support, administer, and configure 16-17 ODA Databases (2 of those are Exalytics and 6 Exadata). They are doing a system upgrade from an ODA perspective and they already have someone who is testing the software, and this person will be filling in the void to do the configurations. They need someone who has done an upgrade involving ODA or other engineered systems.
