The PP/QM Configuration Specialist is responsible for acting as a systems
consultant to the PP, QM, MM and Accounting functions for both internal and
external clients. The specialist works closely with business process owners
to plan, design, and implement process driven solutions. The specialist
responsibilities include designing, configuring and testing SAP PP and QM
modules.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
Acts as a systems consultant to the PP, QM and MM functions.
Gather requirements from key end users and translates them into an
effective system design, while considering and anticipating organizational
impact.
Configures and tests the following SAP modules: PP, QM and MM.
Create functional specifications for non-standard requirements and works
closely with ABAP resources to test, refine and validate custom programs.
Participates in technical analysis and issue resolution of PP/QM/MM system
problem and data issues.
Participates in design, planning, documentation and implementation of
process optimization and performs other duties as assigned.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
Previous configuration experience with SAP PP/QM modules. At least 2 full
implementation experience of PP/QM/MM in the US.
Strong functional knowledge / experience in Manufacturing, ability to
recommend best practices in Production Planning and shop floor execution
processes with respect to SAP.
Ability to build effective, collaborative working relationships with
business users and other team members.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and excellent
interpersonal skills.
Exceptional customer service orientation and proactive, results driven.
