Location: Lansing, MI This opening is for a senior analyst/developer specializing in PowerBuilder and Oracle for a long-term maintenance project in Lansing, Michigan. • As a member of a software development team, day-to-day duties will include providing support for a complex system running on Oracle. • Specific responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of the online modules using PowerBuilder. • The successful candidate will have at least six years strong OO analysis and programming experience in a variety of languages as well as a good understanding of business, not just technology. • Because this position has regular exposure to the client, strong oral and written communication skills as well as business skills are essential. • SQL skills are essential and Oracle PL/SQL skills are a significant plus. • The ability to code in both procedural and object-oriented languages is a significant plus. • C++, COBOL, VB.NET, Java, Office 2010 module development and UNIX shell scripting skills are a plus.
