Java CRM Location: New York, NY Duration: 1 year+ Rate: $50/hr on C2C *Project Description: * Technical support specialist to Interface with clients, understand issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner. Analyze and coordinate resolution of production issues. Manage deployment of releases. Maintain adequate communication with clients and IT management; act as liaison between business, vendors and other support teams. Escalate issues when required to ensure timely resolution. Become primary point of contact for all issues and requests. Develop relationships with other IT groups to ensure all issues are addressed in an expatiated and effective manner and that users are kept updated at all times. Documentation of production applications and infrastructure. Maintain required level of infrastructure support; liaison with internal teams where necessary. Maintain production and Disaster Recovery environment infrastructure. SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (eg shifts, travel overseas, hours): Staff may occasionally need to be on calls with Singapore and London in their time zone and some weekend work on production releases, but no actual shift work. *Essential * 6 + years as Application/Database Developer in the brokerage/financial services sector with hands on experience on Java, EJB, Struts, JSP Programming with Weblogic, JDBC, OOA/OOD/OOP XML/XSLT/HTTP. Enterprise-wide Presentation Layer Design and Development Experience support and tuning database objects / stored procedures and PL/SQL. 2+ years of production application release and support to end users.
