IT  Biz  Analyst –  U.S. Commercial Insurance with ACORD Knowledge

1.      Should be available for Immediate Relocation to CA, Novato Location.


2.      Willing to stay close to Novato, CA at Customer location.

3.      Good Communication, Customer facing, documenting skills with
absolute Listening Comprehension ability.

*Experience :  *

1.      Minimum 8 years of P&C Insurance Industry out of which 4 years in
U.S Insurance Industry.

2.      IT experience blended with an excellent exposure to* P&C*.

3.      ACORD Knowledge with U.S P&C Commercial Insurance Experience.

4.      Experience in various insurance companies in the capacity of
Techno-Functional Domain Consultant at onsite.

5.      Excellent knowledge of the P&C business and familiarity with a broad
spectrum of Insurance applications

6.      Experience of value chain in Commercial, Specialty as well as
personal lines of businesses like Fire, Marine, Engineering, Auto and Home,
are highly desirable.

7.      Experience needs to be in consulting / implementation of P&C
Commercial & Personal insurance solutions focusing on agency and sales
channel management.

8.      Should have Implemented Packaged Insurance solutions in P&C in U.S
for top-notch Insurers.

9.      Specialist in Requirement Gathering, Feasibility study, GAP Analysis
and Implementation Roll-out of various information systems like

·        Quote generation systems

·        Policy Management System

·        Claims management System

·        Customer information management system

·        Insurance Accounting System

·        General Ledger system

10. ACORD Knowledge & should have worked in Front End Application involving
ACORD standard Forms, Portal Framework from Functional perspective

11. Business analyst experience that includes development of use case
scenarios, detailed requirement specifications, Process/Data flow diagrams
Full software development life cycle (concept to deployment)



12. Experience working with cross-functional applications/teams partnering
with Business partners, IT Project Managers, Enterprise Architects and
Technical solution engineers to drive results Participate in
designing/customizing, coding, testing and deploying



13. Basic PC skills including Microsoft Office tools, Visio, and Project



14. Experience in P&C and Specialty lines Underwriting & Rating systems

15. Experience in researching and analyzing various options and providing
alternatives solutions

16. Experience in system improvement for better user experience





*Responsibilities:*



1.      Analyze, define, and document detailed requirements for Web based
projects

2.      Lead technical requirements sessions and activities with business
and technical team members

3.      Lead and support technical requirements understanding and issue
resolution throughout the project life cycle

4.      Develop and execute test strategy/plans based on requirements and
design specifications

5.      Act as a liaison between business and technology during analysis,
development, testing, implementation and production support phases Develop
and modify XML files to support screen prototyping Analyze data needs to
determine appropriate mapping to the ACORD schema

6.      Should be able to Prepare Biz presentations/ host & manage Biz
driven sessions for larger audience.

1.      Exposure to Filenet, ILOG or similar Document Management Systems,
Biz Rules Engine.

2.      Ability to connect to Senior Business Team, understand & articulate
the clear Biz requirements

3.      Hands-on skills to do Mock-ups/ UI’s with industry Standard tools

4.      Do research on the areas customer expects – document & ability to
walkthrough of the Product needs & features.

5.      Agency Port Product experience preferred but not mandatory, highly
recommended

6.      Insurance Process/Practice knowledge highly desirable

7.      Exposure to business process management /reengineering products,
specifically Lombardi Experience facilitating business-focused sessions with
IT and business partners related to the project identifying priorities,
dependencies
