​Oracle EBS/ERP/Financials Expert

Location: Bellevue, W​A

6 months Contract to Hire

Need only GC/Citizens

*Deliverables:*

1) Develop and document an assessment of Client’s future Back-Office and
Mid-Office architecture with focus on where Client should (and should not)
leverage the Client Oracle EBS instance.



2) Develop a formal recommendation of which additional Client Oracle EBS
functions and features Client should adopt once the current Bellini project
to adopt Oracle financials is complete. This should include:

a) Which back-office/mid-office requirements will be satisfied by each
recommended Oracle EBS feature;

b) Which back-office/mid-office requirements will NOT be satisfied by
adoption of Oracle EBS features;

c) A recommendation of how to best address the back-office/mid-office
requirements that are not addressed through Oracle EBS adoption (eg: Java
services);

d) A 3-year plan and roadmap for adoption of Oracle EBS features;

e) A high-level ROI estimate for adoption of Oracle EBS features that must
include both implementation costs and TCO for the first 5 years.



3) Presentation of the above recommendation package to Client technology &
financial leaders and SMEs from Bellevue, WA and Paris, France.



*Working with key Client Back Office SMEs, the consultant will:*

1) Assess Client’s financial accounting and back office/mid-office business
functionality needs;



2) Assess which of those needs are being addressed by Oracle EBS once the
Bellini project to adopt Oracle Financials is complete:

a) Assess how well Oracle EBS is addressing those needs (eg: did we end up
with a solution from the Bellini project that needs tuning?);

b) Determine what additional work (if any) is needed to better take
advantage of what was implemented in the Bellini project.



3) Assess existing back-office/mid-office plans and future architectures to
determine what tuning (if any) may be advisable;



4) Determine and assess what back-office/mid-office financial and business
needs are NOT being addressed by Oracle EBS post-Bellini:

a) Determine which remaining functions and features currently available in
Oracle EBS should be adopted to address those needs through one or more
future projects;

b) Determine (where possible) what future Oracle EBS features should be
leveraged for the Client backoffice/mid-office;

c) Develop a 3-year roadmap for Oracle EBS features adoption;

d) Determine which back-office/mid-office needs should be addressed through
alternative technologies such as Java services or some other approach.



5) Determine, assess, and document the benefits and costs, including
implementation costs and 5-year TCO associated with adopting additional
Oracle EBS features (5-year ROI);



6) Compile & document 1-5 above into a set of actionable recommendations
for presentation to Client technology & financial leadership and SMEs;



7) Present, promote, and defend the set of recommendations through a series
of presentations and working meetings with Client leadership and SMEs.



*Position Requirements:*

1) Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite features, functionality,
capabilities, limitations, implementation requirements, implementation
costs, and TCO;



2) 10 years experience with implementation of Oracle EBS and/or Oracle ERP
systems;



3) 10 years experience with developing and implementing integrated
enterprise-level back-office/mid-office architectures at the mid-to-large
business level;



4) 5 years experience implementing back-office/mid-office financial &
business function solutions in an Ebusiness environment;



5) Broad understanding of common back-office/mid-office business and
functional requirements;



6) Broad understanding of the application of alternative technologies where
Oracle EBS/ERP products may not be a best-fit;



7) Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills;



8) Also prefer:

a) MBA in Finance and Accounting or at least a BS in Finance & Accounting
with at least 5 years core experience in finance & accounting;

b) Ability to travel and work out of our Paris office. French speaking a
plus.​
