Title: Tibco Administrator– Production Support Role

Location: Irving, TX

Duration: 6+ Months



Principal Responsibilities:



• Plan, install, and maintain systems software to ensure an efficient data
processing environment.



• Provide technical support to both systems development and data center
operations personnel.



• In conjunction with data processing operations and audit guidelines,
develop procedures and standards for operations personnel.



• Assist in evaluating, recommending, acquiring, and installing new
software or software upgrades.



• Keep current on software developments.



• Ensure compliance to Client Information Technology Management Policies
and Standards.



• Participate in deployment of systems software and adapt new products with
minimum supervision to the operating environment.





* Minimum 4-6 years working experience in TIBCO major software;

* Experience in TIBCO major software * EMS, BusinessWorks, Business Events,
Hawk, BPM Iprocess and Adapters

* Experience in Red Hat Linux, IBM AIX environment and tools



Skills Required:

1. Effective communication skills;

2. Knowledge in TIBCO deployment and runtime administration;

3. Ability to collect TIBCO trace data and to interact with vendor

4. Ability to manage complex EMS instance set up and BusinessWorks domains

5. Experience in startup and shutdown scripting as well as recovery scripts

6. Strong grasp of Hawk tools and scripting;

7. Success attributes include initiative, the ability to perform under
pressure, strong leadership, analytical problem-solving abilities;
willingness to work during weekends

8. Self-motivated and can work autonomously;



Job Description:

1. Will be a member of the Middleware operation team supporting production
environment and major projects;

2. His/her responsibility is to provide Middleware support:

a) Day-to-day System Administration tasks;

b) Problem determination or troubleshooting for any issue

c) Involved in project discussion and implementation;

d) Co-ordinate with all teams for support issues e.g. database, network,
and storage.

3. Will be managing the controls in set up and configuration including
information security;

4. Will also be required to be an effective communicator with external
vendors like TIBCO or IBM for software issues;

5. Work closely with project manager and other team members to ensure
timely delivery of major projects;

6. Willingness to perform 24x7 production support and weekend duties.
