*Position Description: *
This is a First, Second and Flex shift position. Successful candidate will
posses both Windows and Unix OS support skills and will be responsible for
providing support for the Wells Fargo - Wholesale Department -
Non-Production datacenter environment. You will respond to monitoring
alarms, phone calls, and pages to provide support and service restoral for
the Non-Production servers hosting Wholesale Treasury Applications. Typical
incidents and fulfillments are broad in scope and will relate to most all
aspects of hardware, operating systems, and middleware support. You may be
expected to carry out Change Requests (configuration changes etc) on a
scheduled basis.
*Minimum Qualifications***
2+ years experience in an Enterprise Production Support Environment. The
ability to coordinate with multiple groups to resolve complex issues:
Understand multi-tier, multiple platform environments, and System
administration. Good verbal and written communication skills with particular
emphasis on incident management. Candidate should be familiar with Service
Level Agreements/Operational Level Agreements and be able to handle multiple
incidents and prioritize between them. Must be able to work in a high
pressure/visibility environment.
4 - 6 years of experience administering LINUX, SOLARIS, AIX, HP-UX, MS
Server 2000, 2003, 2008 environments
3+ years of Weblogic/WebSphere administration
2+ years of Sun One/iPlanet web server administration years of Unix
2+ Scripting (Bash/Perl)
3 + years experience with 3 or more of the following:
IIS
AD
SAML
Solaris
Linux
AIX
Sun One/iPlanet web servers
Apache,
LDAP
Shell and/or PERL scripting
Preferred/desired Skills
Disk space administration using VERITAS Volume Mgr
Code Migration using Sun N1SPS/Center Run
Experience with NDM
HP Open View / Net Cool
Site Minder
SSH
Performance analysis tools such as HP Open View
Remedy or similar trouble ticket tracking system
AutoSys, NDM, Net Backup
Performance tuning
Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware problems on HP, SUN, or IBM
Platforms, as well as Intel Hardware and Egenera
OPSWARE
VMWare
Intermediate to Advanced UNIX and WINDOWS System administration Skills
ITIL knowledge or certification
