Start Date: 9/21 Duration: 18+ months with possible 6 month extension Location: Houston TX Rate: 55-60/MAX /hr Inclusive- DOE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST *Experience* • Minimum of five years Materials Management and/or Inventory Control and/or Warehouse Managements and/or Parts Management- may include materials such as drilling, completions, operations and production, construction materials management • Knowledge and understanding of Materials Management processes and computer systems • Skilled data practitioner - ability to research and resolve problems • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with materials manufacturers, suppliers & vendors • Material handling, procurement, logistics coordination and expediting experience. • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service. • Strong track record of delivery using key performance indicators (KPIs) * * *MUST HAVE: * SAP and Maximo (preferred) or Hazmat Languages Needed: English - Fluent Roles & Responsibilities: • Support the execution of the data cleansing & enrichment program • Cleanse duplicate Material Numbers - analyze materials with like descriptions but different material numbers. • Collect sufficient material characteristics to determine if physical materials are actually the same materials. • Determine the appropriate master number using pre-defined criteria and use pre-developed tools to make adjustments to duplicate numbers. • Eliminate SAP/Maximo collisions - We are combing SAP and Maximo material masters into SAP. • Some numbers exist in both systems with different descriptions. • Collect sufficient material characteristics to determine if physical materials are actually the same materials. • Determine the appropriate master number using pre-defined criteria and use pre-developed tools to make adjustments to duplicate numbers. • Modify descriptions adding valuable attributes to existing Maximo IDs - as duplicates and collisions are worked, additional characteristics will be collected as part of the analysis. These characteristics need to be added to the master number in SAP. • Coordinate efforts with Maintenance & Integrity team & Offshore - as many of the materials being worked are stored on Client’s offshore assets, communications with offshore personnel to collect additional characteristics will be key. • Communicate status of program & support key performance indicator efforts. • Provide active communication and support through-out the process.
