*Need: Embedded Engineer*
*Location: Quakertown PA *
*Rate is 40/hr{MAX}*
*3months.*
*Academic Degree(s) required:*
4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (Computer Science okay
with practical embedded software development experience)
*Experience Required:*
- Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in Embedded Systems Product
design
- Working knowledge of C
- Familiarity with 8-bit processor architectures
- Familiarity with hardware design concepts, ability to troubleshoot
mixed hardware/software issues
- Freescale 9S08 Processor familiarity a plus
- Familiarity with Communication Protocols
*Principal Accountabilities:*
- Design/architect software - responsible to help design robust code,
reused across multiple platforms for new features in a cross-functional
development team environment
- Bug hunt and fix – responsible to report and fix bugs identified within
the software
- Test - responsible for completing bench testing of developed software
- Document – responsible for documenting changes made to software
