Qualified candidates for this opportunity will possess expertise in the following key areas: · Play a critical role in the Merch systems projects and enhancements · Presents solution alternatives to customer’s IT and business partners to support business processes and objectives · Responsible for delivering Solution and technical designs for the Merchandising systems · Analyzes designs, configures and installs application, in accordance with customer’s methodologies, technical standards, and time and budget estimates. · Leads and mentors junior or offshore team members in analysis, design, coding, testing, etc. · Ensures good relationships with multiple customer’s business partners, vendors, and other IT groups for successful implementation and support of project and production efforts · Tracks progress, identifies potential barriers to meeting commitments, and intervenes as needed to eliminate barriers and ensure delivery. · Communicates to management on status, problems, issues, and underlying process changes as they occur throughout the customer organization. · Partner with Business Analysts and Customer’s Technical Leads in implementation and support · Manages technical projects or components of larger project. · Duties and Responsibilities · Works closely with business systems analysts, and team members to understand functional requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions · Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. · Designs interface and conversion needs for data and process to enhance existing systems or develop new ones. · Recommend, design, develop, test and implement new capabilities and enhancements based on feedback from users. · Writes technical specifications for conversion or interface programs. · Support resolving issues, gaps and defects escalated by users and/or key business stakeholders · Reviews technical work of other team members, ensuring adherence to IT standards. · Performs other job-related duties as assigned *Requirements/ Qualifications: * · Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience · 5+ years of related work experience using Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems application · Strong analytical skills.
